VANTA network, real-time secure and private connectivity

Hi guys. Most of you know that China doesn’t participate in many blockchain startups. What is VANTA?

VANTA is an intelligent network that will create low-cost real-time private data transmission in large scale. This will allow users and organizations transmit messages, videos, files and other data, make audio and video calls, live streaming and other. The workings of network are based on the competing of participant nodes without control of centralized system. The node with most convenient computing power, memory, contribution and other parameters will be chosen among randomly selected nodes.

How does it work?

VANTA is P2P (peer-to-peer) network that uses ARKAS protocol. You can see the following participants in processing: a customer that requests the task as data storage, processing, transmission in real time. The node that gets that task first is considered as relevant task tracker and it verifies the request, manages worker nodes etc. Worker nodes are verified for randomness and are chosen relying on the largest size of VRF hash value. The worker node that starts the job becomes a primary worker. Secondary worker node is kept on hold and replaces the primary node if it encounters a problem. Verifier node confirms the job performance and provides proof of workload for the worker node. Proof of Networking or PoN is an algorithm used in VANTA. The reduction of cost and the increase of efficiency are achieved thanks to VRF (Verifiable Random Function) and PBFT

Instances of implementation

• Connectedness as different services, delivery, shopping, customer services etc. Decentralized VANTA API service will reduce the costs.
• Telecommunication as user-friendly low-cost private blockchain for business and governmental organizations
• Gaming and related issues as data transmission and data processing, blockchain tracking of in-game items will have more stable service.
• Broadcast as in case of online courses, tournaments, selected videos (video on demand or VOD) will lead to increased content production.
• Internet of things (IoT) Smart devices will be able to share the data in VANTA network, some smart devices as smart-refrigerators, TVs cars and others will be able to participate in the network as participant nodes.

There are following main layers of VANTA network:

• API layer. It realizes the connection, data processing, storage and transmission, authentication and wallet
• ARKAS protocol fulfils selection for peer connection, data verification, data relaying and caching
• Core layer includes IPFS, registration, smart contract and telecommunications
• Blockchain layer is presented by KANUS chain that selects randomly several nodes in accordance with Verifiable Random Function.

VANTA framework and safety

VANTA provides personal identification and end-to-end encryption consistent with PGP encryption standard. The data transmission is protected by Datagram Transport Layer Security(DTLS) and media transmission is defended by Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) and Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP).
